Newsletter
When you sign up for classes or events, we add your email address to our mailing list. We send those emails through Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), which stores the address for that purpose. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by mailing info@extremos.nl.
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Cookies
Our website only places cookies for measurement and advertising after you have given permission. The first time you visit, we ask. Declining is as easy as accepting, and nothing is placed until you choose.
We remember your choice for one year, in your own browser. You can change it at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your permission, we remove the cookies listed below straight away.
Google Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to see how our website is used: which pages people visit and how they arrive. Google Analytics places the cookies _ga and _ga_8B9BDC39GD, which by default are kept for up to two years. Google's privacy policy is available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Ads
With your permission, we use Google Ads to measure whether our advertisements lead to a visit or a booking, and to show our advertisements again to people who visited our website. Google Ads places the cookie _gcl_au, which by default is kept for 90 days.
If you decline, we tell Google that you have not given permission (Google Consent Mode). Google then places no cookies and receives no information that identifies you or your browser. It does receive a signal without identifiers that a page was visited, which Google uses to estimate the results of our advertisements in general.
Meta Pixel
With your permission, we use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) to measure whether our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram lead to a visit or a booking, and to show them to people who visited our website. The Meta Pixel places the cookies _fbp and, if you arrive through a Facebook or Instagram advertisement, _fbc. Both are kept for 90 days by default.
