Luis Vazquez began dancing Salsa in 1992. He was inspired by many movies such as “Lolita’s Way” and the movie “Salsa” but his true inspiration came from his older brother Francisco Vazquez.  Francisco introduced him to Salsa in 1992 when Francisco was learning the first salsa steps. Luis and his brothers are considered to be the pioneers of the LA Salsa Style on1.

Nuno & Vanda are originally from Portugal, the country that they have been representing at the international salsa congresses and festivals. Born in Curacao, Mitchell Provence was involved with dancing since he can think and became one of the most talented dancers of his generation. After forming a strong knowledge in music and Salsa dancing with teachers like Eddie Torres, Frankie Martinez, Leo Garcia, Eric Lalta, Nene Vasquez and Walter Rebatta he raised his level of dancing and musicality not only in relation to Salsa but also to multiple other forms of dance such like Afro and Contemporary.

Sweet Chili Burlesque Dancer

Sweet Chili (Brittina Krech) has exercised almost every dance within the last 13 years (ballett, tango argentino, tap dance, bodypercussion, HipHop, african dance, Flamenco, indian Odissi, american tribal belly dance, Salsa/Merengue/Bachata/Reggeaton), her longest-trained (10 years) and most passionate types are the latin dances.

Chanel Borges & Eylem Baruk

Chanel & Elena are the Salsa Diva’s of Switzerland. They are well known for their Ladystyling Workshops and Shows!

His continuing passion for dance moved him to seek out and train with a multitude of well-known instructors from New York, Puerto Rico and Cuba eventually landing him an opportunity with the Abakua Dance Company directed by Frankie Martinez.

Armando y Antonella dances company of origin Peruvian and Italian. They make a mix with the South American rhythm, the jazz and the ballet dance. They participated in several international congresses. They practise the New York salsa. They are estimated for their dinamysmes and their favors.

Franco & Jessica have been to Amsterdam twice now, and both times they have amazed the crowd with their high speed, high quality performance.

Billy Garcia graduated from the contemporary stage dance training and trained with renowned masters. He has a immense theater and show experience. For many years Billy keeps himself busy with salsa.

Rapunzels dance career started at a very young age with a background in latin dances. During this time she has established a special relation to the dance.

Graduating Art History at the University of Ghent, Belgium, art has ever been a passion for Michèle Martens. After years of balletdancing as a child, following 9 years of musicclasses, playing the violin, she found her love in dancing Salsa.

Two time Dutch champions Femke and Manoah Bernabela are founders of dance school Salsa Tipica. Femke and Manoah are nationally and internationally respected for their technique, typical style and their clear manner of teaching. Malek is the founder of Salsability Dance School. He was trained in latin dances by the Mambo King Eddie Torres. Malek performed on many stages in the Netherlands and abroad. He performed with Melissa Rosado (dans partner of the Mambo king Eddie Torres), Jenifer Silvas (danspartner of Jhonny Vasquez) Fadi Hamdan, Mouaze Konate and Jerome Ramos.

Nucita la Fiera & Gibert Ismail

Nucita went on holiday to la Margarita/Venezuela in 1999 and she realized straight away that she was born in the wrong country as she was so attracted to the latino culture and music. Six weeks after her holiday she moved to Isla Margarita, and enjoyed very much living there. She learnt to dance Salsa on the streets. As Venezuela was very insecure she had to come back to Holland after 1 year... but she was addicted to latin music.

Richard (known as Richie) Umejei, born in Lagos Nigeria, has always loved dancing. This passion started in Nigeria at an early age. Richie participated and competed in various street dance competitions in the early 80’s at the age of 12. He started dancing salsa socially in 1997 at El Centro, Amsterdam. He attended numerous salsa congresses and festivals all over Europe and the USA(Chicago, Boston, Washington and NY).

Shaan is an internationally respected and established instructor, performer and DJ in London, the U.K. and internationally!! Affectionately known as “London’s best kept secret”, he has been dancing salsa for 16 years, teaching 10 of those years with Susana Montero, and acquiring a vast knowledge and experience of Salsa and Latin dancing/teaching!!

Since then, he has grown quickly in this art as a lover of the music, a social dancer and a DJ.
